1/31/10 - I can't believe it's been over two years since I last posted an update! Things in '09 were hectic between commuting long distances for a new job and with having a one year old to take care of. The cars were definitely put on the backburner in favor of more important things. I did find time to completely rebuild the coupe. I tore down the engine and replaced the setup with a pair Edelbrock Performer heads, Holley Systemax Intake, and then added a Vortech S-trim. I also removed the t-5 and converted the car to an AOD. Big thanks to Dan at Silverfox Racing for building me a killer AOD-700 for the Click Click Racing project car. The tranny also features one if his newest valve bodies with transbrake. A big thanks also goes out to Alan at Dirty Dog Performance for supplying me with one of his top of the line billet AOD converters. This is without a doubt the best AOD conveter that I have ever run. It by far feels the best of any other I've had on the street, and the car feels like a rocket. Check out the pictue section for detailed pictures on all the work. I can't wait to get it on the dyno and down the track this season to get some numbers on it! Stay tuned!

The blue car has also gone through some minor changes. Over the winter I installed the Vortech Renegade Bracket kit. I can't believe I did not install this years ago when it came out. Tightening the belt now is a snap. All you do is ratchet down the tensioner bolt, and then tighten a locking nut. It's so easy my 5 year old son could do it. I no longer need to yank down on a breaker bar with all my weight while my wife tightens the 3 bolts on the tensioner. I am sure she will miss that..lol. I also replaced the slicks with a pair of drag radials. I have not felt very comfortable on the slicks at the 150+ mph I have been running. I think the drag radials will make the car mor stable on the top end, and if they do hook like people tell me, the car may even run faster. I have several events planned this season, so hopefully I will get plenty of seat time.

I will detinitely update the new more frequently in 2010, and look for more updated photos in the picture sections.

11/23/08 - Today both cars were out for the SSOTN Fall Nats at Cecil County Dragway. The blue car ran a new best MPH of 153.51 and a new best 60' time of 1.317. The red coupe ran a new best of 12.69 @ 109.24 mph. Both cars are running great!

9/23/08 - I have updated the pictures page for the blue car and created a new picture page detailing the progression of the coupe.

9/21/08 - It has been a long time since I have had a chance to update this page. The website has been growing like crazy. We recently reached over 2,000 members, and the site is very active every day. As for me, life has been very busy the past two years, and I haven't really had a chance to get the car out much. My daughter was born in June and my son turned 4 in July, so when I am not busy at work I am usually spending time with them. I have also been busy building the 92 coupe that I purchased over the winter. It was a four cylinder roller that I converted to a five speed v8. It has 4:10's, h/c/i, exhaust, pulleys, cai, and the other usual bolt-ons. You can see the rest of the specs here. Now that the weather is getting cooler and we are getting into a routine with the newborne, I will hopefully be able to get the cars out a little more before winter hits. On

12/16/06 - I made my first full pass today with the new combo. The car went 9.20 @ 151 mph with a 1.38 60' time. You can see the time slip here. The video can be seen here.

11/16/06 - I would like to thank ACA Performance for coming on board and helping sponsor my car and the site. They have helped me take things a new direction. I would also like to thank my friends Mike Euston, Matt Grieve, Joey Pullella, and Adam Arnt for helping to wrench on the new combo over the past two months to get it done. I also received great help with parts and advice from Brian Mitchell, Karl Ownens, Brian Freeze, and many others. Over the past two months my combo has significantly changed. The rotating assembly was moved over to a new Dart Sportsman block, the AOD was replaced with a PA Supercomp C4, a custom cam was installed, the exhaust was completely changed with Kooks Headers and 3.5" pipes, and a few other little tweaks were done. So far the new combo has made a best of 662 at the wheels. Once we up the boost, do some more tuning in the next few weeks, and keep the discharge tube on for a full pull, that number should go way up. Stay tuned :)

4/20/06 - Click Click Racing is featured in the Cyberstallions Section of the June '06 issue of MM&FF. Big thanks to Jeff Bauer for doing an excellent write up on the site. You can see a copy of the article here.

4/17/06 - The SSOTN was rained out last weekend. A group of us will be hitting Cecil County Dragway this Saturday. Stay tuned for new results :)

11/18/05 - The car ran great at the ABM Nats. I practiced launching off of the transbrake and the car finally did some nice wheelies. I made a few 9 sec passes and ran a new best of 141 mph and called it a day :)

11/6/05 - Not much new to report. I haven't had the car out at all this season. I plan to have it out next weekend for the SSOTN ABM Nats. I will report back on how that goes.

4/3/05 - The car is almost ready for the 2005 season. I just had the AOD freshened by Deltrans of Newark, DE. They rebuilt the tranny using 7 direct clutches instead of 5 and freshened everything else inside the tranny. I swapped out the old Lentech Street Terminator Valve Body for a Lentech Strip Terminator w/trans brake. I am also changing out the old Art Carr converter for a new 9.5" PI stallion converter that was custom built for the currrent combo. The first time out will be at the SSOTN Nats at Cecil County Dragway on April 16th. I can't wait to launch it off the transbrake for the first time :)

11/12/04 -I made my last two license passes today, so I am now NHRA legal. On my second pass I ran a new best of 9.75 @ 137.13 mph!

11/13/04 -I got 4 of my 6 license passes completed. The 1/8th and 1000 ft. passes are complete. There were too many delays and cleanups to get in all 6 passes today. Now I just need to go back and run my two 9 second passes and I will be good to go.

11/12/04 -I did some tuning on La Rocca's dyno with the new Vortech YSI and joined the 600 rwhp club. The car made a best of 650 at the wheels, but I fattened it up some to keep it safe. The final pull was 612.1 hp and 641.1 torque. You can see the dyno graph here. This weekend I will be making my license passes at the SSOTN Fall Nats.

9/12/04 - Congrats to CCR Members Rich Nagle (Nasty93) and Bob Lunner (Rel3rd) who both had their cars featured in this months issue of 5.0 and Superfords. CCR is mentioned in Rich's article.
