AOD into a 1951 FORD Panel Truck

OK, y'all can call me Roo. I have a project, a long time project, I'm reserecting. Basicly, it is an updated F1 Panel Truck that I started on over 30 years ago. At that time I was already thinking of using an add-on overdrive behind my 302/C4 combo. Think Gear Vendors. My, how times have changed and now that FORD introduced its own version of an OD tranny, it's time I scrap the add-on notion and go with a self contained OEM type unit. I am currently running an AOD behind a slightly built 357W in a '73 Ranchero overgeared with a 3.00 open 9 incher for about 10 years now. Not the best combo, but it was free a for the removal, and replaced a spent FMX, follow all that, OK?
Now, several months ago I got back on the Project Panel, started doing interwebb reasearch, found this site, and got an AOD from a local CraigsList vendor. Purchase some upgrading parts, Sonex A+ OD servo, 4 hole 7T output shaft, Transgo kit, Lokar shifter arm , and TV cable kits, and then hand carried it to a local transmission guru. Waiting for results....Will keep y'all posted.....Also got a 164T, 28oz flexplate from ABC, a local vendor.

WHAT YOU BROKE: Broke the stock input shaft in 2008. Put a TCI lockup shaft in and its held all the way to the 7s. Killed the direct drum . And broke about everything possible over the years I think.
