    OK. Stupid Torque Converter Question

Will a C4 torque converter actually fit on an AOD? I'm not trying to use a C4 converter as a replacement, just want to know if it is possible for it to slide onto an AOD.

I'm trying to diagnose an issue with my AOD.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

The AOD has two input shafts and a C4 has one. The AOD turbine takes the big diameter outer shaft that is much larger than a C4 input shaft so the AOD shaft would not allow engagement in the smaller C4 spline hole. Therefore even if the pump flanges on the C4 TC would fit the AOD pump it would not drive either input shaft as neither would fit the C4 TC innards. In a word, no.
