wasn't sure what else to title the thread as....lol

went up to my local track for our Wednesday rental as it closes in 10 days...:cuss:. Anyways weather look good, high of 64 and mostly sunny so headed up for the afternoon. DA was still 300-600 feet despite the cool air. and wind was minimal which it hasn't been my last few outings. I wanted to mess w/ the suspension to calm the car down from wheelies and see if it picked up.

boo ya! now time to mess with suspension. only change was tighten up the front shocks 2 clicks.

Now I wanted to try something. I tossed the 4# lower on the car. Previous runs were 2.93 / 6# and now its a 2.93 / 4#.

I haven't gone into my logs yet but this almost confirms my thoughts of the 6# and the 10 more hp it made didn't too too much. Ill look at them tomorrow and see if the IAT's were cooler with the 4#.

THEN...I say F it Im warming up the bottle. Was hoping to get that same 1.32 60' I got the other day but there were not many cars today and it was slowing down and the track was going away. BUT...

boo ya! man, what a way to end the year up here. Just wish the Eaton only had some more steam but I think its all out of that. Had a new best 60, 1/8 et and mph on the Eaton as well as new best mph in the 1/4 but nada on the ET. I think she is just done....or the Converter is off. anyways on to the good stuff!

first pass off the trailer

as you can see....from the 1st pass to the 5th I bettered my 60' by .026 which SHOULD show some gain in ET yet it was DEAD ON. Im happy to run three 9.94s in a day but was looking for my goal of 9.89. Either Im at the cars full potential or w/ the car being lighter it messed w/ the converter.

so then I warmed up the bottle, got it to 975psi and went up for a pass. 5 cars in front of me crashed at the 1/8 mile so we had to sit for 30 minutes or so. Bottle went down to 900psi but didn't have time to warm it back up.

.01 better all around would have been icing on the cake....but Ill take it!

video was taken but will be a couple days as im super busy this weekend.

144 passes for the season.....3 sets of slicks, 5-6 plug changes, and a few oil changes. not bad for a 33k mile factory motor....lol

Do you remember what the specifics of that converter were, I'm sure it is still qualifies for the free restall if we want to try to make it a little better.

I don't know what the intervals are....it's also not one of yours? Maybe confused with someone?

not at all...I was keeping it on the ground as much as I could which is why its so good.

off the bottle wheels up a foot or so was consistent 1.37-1.38.....wheels down is 1.34-1.35
