Stock 5.0 Block

How much horsepower and max rpm can the stock 5.0 block handle?
Current set up is all steel 347 bottom end ,edelbrock rpm heads and
intake. Car runs 12.8 @ 102mph. Planning on opening the heads
up and steping up the cam. the engine is N/A - no nitrous all motor.

umm u can run a helll of alot more than that......what is the combo a 347 with alum heads should run alot better than 102 mph....stock 5.0 cars run that with a lil driving.

yes the car has more potenial - but last winter i installed a one piece input shaft in the trans
(no direct drive) now i hit the factory rev limit at 91 mph - and shift to O/D at the 1000 foot.
26 tires and 4.10 gears
the engine has a very small cam to work with the stock computer 216-544 224-555
planning on chipping the computer and stepping up to a cam in the 230 duration area.
Where is a good place to get a custom chip? Computer is C3W
