Need help picking a blower for my engine. This is it so far. 69' windsor block, Scat 9000 3.5 stroke crank, eagle rods, probe pistons 9.0-1,victorjr heads and intake, blower prepped 750 carb, custom blower cam. Looking to run low 6s in the 8th. Revs will be kept under 6500rpms. Would the T-trim be better for 358" since Im not revving it high or go with the ysi? Trans is a c4 with 3.55s and 3800 stall. Car weighs 3050 with me so its light. Thanks for you input.

YSI would be my choice  maybe Eric will pop in and give his thoughts on the YSI

Go with a YS or YSi. If you buy the T-trim, you will still be left wanting for more. The YSi will provide all your boost needs and then some.

Does the ysi lose alot of torque to the T-trim? It seems like the ysi is the way to go though. I have heard the you have to spin the ysi's alot. I am wanting to keep my power under6500rpms. May get a touch bigger stall to maybe a 4200?

The 4200 stall converter might be a bit on the high side. Call Performance Automatic and give them your specs. They are really good with getting converters spot on.
As far as the YSi goes, its a lot more efficient for making power. Eric (RdRunnr) picked up a lot of hp and torque from his swap from a YS to a YSi.

The YSI makes plenty of torque down low. You need to match up your converter to the rest of the combo. What cam are you running? Here's my chart from my first YSI pulls last winter :

Ya I will call the experts on the cam issue. I have thought about the TFS 2 cam or the lunata 51012, or the comp XE 282Hr and have heard to get a custom Larocca cam. What do you guys think about the cam choices. What would be a good stall. Tire is 275/60/15 and 3.55s.
Whats the specs on your converter Eric?

I run the TFS stage 2 cam and like it. That graph was with my old converter that never was right with car...I just installed a PI Stallion 3700 stall converter tonight so I will have to get it back on the dyno soon :)

How does that cam sound in the 347? Does it idle smooth or hit a little lick. Where do you shift at? Your car makes killer power.
