installed msd 6al and car now has a period during warm up that it breaks up spits and sputters and misses any imput? :thumbdown:

First thing to check is the ground.

Where is the box grounded??...Also check to make sure your engine is grounded to the frame properly and securly.....also check all your connecters ti make sure you have them all crimped good and tight (stuff like an MSD box should really have all the connections soldered)..

you cold prolly check you dist cap too for cracks or anything goofy in there.

have you changed the spark plugs yet since the blower came off?

Yeah we put in 3926's. Gapped at .045.

grounded it straight to the battery and all grounds are good

I believe the MSD needs to be grounded directly to the body, not the battery.

no i printed directions out off the net says ground it to battery
un hooked it and it still does it so my new ? is what else would make it do this?

mine's grounded to the chasis too...

did this start when you changed the plugs?

No it was doing before then. With msd disconnected it still does it but not nearly as bad.
