i need to know if you can mount a taylor bat box without dropping the tank.
i also would like any info on how to wire the on/off safety switch so the car shuts off
must pass tech.(nhra)

I followed this SSOTN tech article (http://www.superstallions.com/tech/elect/bat_relocate/bat_relocate.html) when I installed mine. I didn't have to drop the tank to mount it..

thanks eric, i didn't know it was that easy to do the wiring.
how did you mount your box without going under the car?

I went under the car but it ended up being inside the car further then the tank went...here's an old shot..

the instructions for wiring the batt that eric sent me are exellent.
i'm just foggy on one thing.
when you cut the alt. wire where the two wires become one, you then have to solder the 2 gauge wire from the on/off switch to the end that goes into the alt. I got that part but what happens to the other end of the wire that you tape the end off of. where does that wire go and will it mess with the computer.
