when you swap driveshafts on an aod car,do you have to keep the weighted balancer on the front of the shaft.
i was told no by one of my buddies but i want to be sure.

i have a question also....since i changed my gears it seems that i have a slight vibration at higher speeds with my car
now somebody told me that when you put in an aluminum driveshaft you have to line up the yellow dot on the rear end with the yellow dot on the driveshaft when you bolt it together....what's the deal with that?? and is that also true with the stock driveshaft?
thanks guys!

Gettin old myself...I've never seen any "dots" anywhere...lol...
However, you should always put the driveshaft flange back where it was originally. As in mark it and the pinion flange before removal. If you have a vibration, try turning the driveshaft mounting flange 90 degrees. If that doesn't help, an aluminum driveshaft will usually cure that problem...Not ALWAYS, but 99 times out of 100...It's a shame FRPP rapes everyone on the price of them now...
