Got a set of GT40 Irons, cobra 1.7rr's, Edelbrock performer RPM intake on the way soon. Still deciding on the cam choice seems like it might be the crower 15511. Trying to keep with SD and need it to work with the AOD. Any other cam selections? Im not sure if im gonna finish buying all the parts for the transmission or go ahead and do H/C/I then finish the transmission. The AOD will be running an Edge 3000 9.5" converter and a Lentech Street Terminator V/B. Any ideas on what this combo might make. Im hoping low 13's maybe?

What are the specs of that cam? sd and cam changes aren't a good mix.

its seems like a good sd cam alot of people are running it, close to an e-cam.
the 15511 cam specs are :
PERFORMANCE LEVEL 2 - Big sound. Excellent 5-speed cam for
heavy car. Strong low and mid-range torque.
302 cid / 2200 - 5500 rpm / Redline: 6000 rpm maximum
Duration @ .050"
218° intake
224° exhaust
Gross lift 1.6 / 1.6
468" intake
486" exhaust
I think im gonna stick with the stock cam for now and see how it performs

Probably a good idea to stick with stock cam...Years ago I tried to run my F cammed engine with the SD, and it wasn't a pretty site...

The Crower 15511 will work well. There are also a couple of Comp Cams that will work. I forget the # but I think it is 264hr and xr and one of the 270's. You'll need to keep the LSA at 114 and duration at no more than 220@.050. Check out www.50tech.com tech section for a list of cams.
