C4 question

I'm thinking of taking my 5spd out and putting in a C4. I was wondering how high my RPMs would be on the highway while doing 65- 70mph. I have 3.73s. Any Ideas?

I would say about 3000.

What is the driving force brhind you considering the swap?

1. Don't like stick shift
2. Have too much power in the car and think you will break the t5
3. Turning the car into a track only ride and don't need OD.
4. Some other reason

There are a couple of options available to you other than just putting in a c4 regardless if its 1 or 2. If its 3 you can bolt in a toploader that will have less parasidic loss than the c4.

If you just want an auto you can build up or buy an overdrive trans that will take a lot of abuse or you can upgrade to a tremec or other HD 5 speed trans.

Thanks Nick !! I think I'm gonna look towards the AOD with all the goodies. I'm just getting tired of the 5spd. It was fun when my car was stock, but now I have the s-trim and it's just not the same.
