Just wondering who is running a wideband and why did you chose the one you are running versus the others that are out there? I was also curious as to which sensor is the preffered sensor since there are a couple out there and the prices vary a great deal.

Eric I use a Tech Edge 2.0, i chose this kit based on the research i had done and the reported accuracy, the large readout, the completeness of the kit, the fact that the WB never needs to be calibrated...EVER unlike the LM-1 i had been looking at. I paid $460 shipped from Austrailia, i am extremely happy with the kit and have been running it since last October, the meter was compared to the WBO2 at Exotic and was dead on. with the WB tuning is SOOOO easy with the PMS, i was able to nail my idle A/F within a mintue and cruise A/F and the all important WOT A/F

Did you get the kit complete or did you have to do the DYI thing?

zeitronix wideband for me...

nice display with data for egt, a/f, lambda, boost/vac... peak/ hold button

uses the less expensive bosch sensor as opposed to the ntk (plus the bosch part number crosses over to readily available vw, audi, bmw, and possibly merecdes benz sensors... cost is around $50/per instead of $120/per)

can log a/f, egt, boost/vac, tps, rpm, user input (maf voltage), lambda

simulated narrowband output to stock ecu

wideband output to dfi system

software upgrades are free via a download off their site

can run a egt right through their controller

can run a boost sensor right through their controller

among, if not the fasest, sampling rate per second of the affordable
comercially available widebands

simple hook up

very compact

price was right

several "import tuner" mags did a wideband comparo a year back or so, and i believe the zeitronix was named the overall best by, and quite possibly the most accurate of the "bargain" widebands....
