well.. depending on the heads... (mine be edlebrock) autolight 3924's have been working well for me (N/A)... i have a full crane ignition (hi-6 and ps91 coil) along with a msd cap and rotor and taylor 904's... i gap them anywhere between .038" and .042".... i have used the 3923's but i didn't really need a plug that cold so i swapped back up to the '24's... blower applications... autolite RACING 3933's.... what the majority of the renegade guys spec out.... they come side gapped right from autolite... i know alderman can get them for you... tillman probably can too...

on a side note... been to tillman's lately??? i hear harry got himself a late model blown BENTLY!!!

I'm running edelbrock heads I ment to post that. so you think autolite RACING 3933's are my best bet then. I used to run NGK in my TA and I was really happy with them I'm just not sure if NGK makes a colder plug for a mustang.

that wouldn't surprise me about tillman lol he's always got some new toy sitting around.

ngk makes good plugs too... and a plug for almost everything if you are using their "racing" series... but the AR3933 is proven as far as i'm concearned... this of course is going almost purely on the opinions of the different renegade guys i'm in contact with during the season... but with the power they're making sans intercooler with a stock computer plus a host of other restrictions.. i know they have to milk every last 1/2hp from everything... if they like 'em... i like 'em...

the Ar3923 are one step colder then stock right. I was reading about the ar3933 and they sound alittle exetreme for a street car lol everyone on corral that has them runs them in race cars.

scott, you talking aboput standard autolite 3923's??? i might have a set in my tool box with virtually 0 miles on them... ok.. maybe 200-300 miles... i walked into pep boys on concord pike and told them to give me two boxes and they had all but 1 plug in stock... if that's all you want, get ahold of 351c stang on dsr aka carlos... he works there, so he should be able to hook you up...

Thanks though man.

mustangkiller if you find a place to get the AR plugs let me know and ill go there and pick some up

I love it, how can you beat $1.92 for two.

Scott i'll see if I can find some this week. I'm almost positive tilman can get them I've bought autolites off him before. but I'm going to try autowerx because I know the owner so they'll be cheaper there.

I guess I'm going to try to go with the AR3923's if I can find them and if not I'll try the 3923's.

Thanks
Mike

The guys that I know that run AR's all run AR3910's...what's the difference between the AR3910's and AR3923's? Who sells AR's around here? I know sparkplugs.com sells them pretty reasonably.

Eric i dont know of anyplace in our area that sells the AR plugs, i couldnt find ANYWHERE to get em for me, not even speed shops i ended up ordering my AR3923's from sparkplugs.com

With stock heads and a nearly stock combo, I switched from autolite 25's to AR133's and it was like night and day...I can't say enough good about these Autolite Racing plugs. I was able to get mine through Advance Auto Parts....cost me like $21 shipped for a set of 8. When I went in and asked for them 3 guys told me no, then some Honda driving kid told me to hold on...he rattled away on the keyboard and said he could have them next day. Most of the people at the parts stores just don't know or are too lazy...I know this because I work at AutoZone...I don't think we can get them though...I'll check this afternoon when I go in.

Anybody know what Autolite Racing plugs will fit GT-40P heads...I know that they use the same plug style as a '93 Mark VIII-dual cam 4.6...not sure on the heat ranges though.

i've been running the 3923's on my stock heads right now, and even though my car has been running out of wack for a little while, those plugs look damn good. I'm impressed. I've also bought 2 sets of AR3923's from Advance Auto Parts. I believe they had to order them though... I got them a while back.
