AOD shifter cale ?

I am lining up parts for a tko to AOD swap in my 89 Mustang. I have a shifter cable from a 4 cyl a4ld car will this work or do I need a stock AOD cable. Also Are the 4 to 8 cylinder shift cable brackets the same ?

you need AOD cable.
hit the yard and yank one and a tv cable...they are both hard to find.
