 I have no line loc

Explain slowly when approaching the water (I'm wearing ET Drags) what to do to do a respectable burnout...yes I'm new to stick driving, sorry for the basic question but up to now it's been just a brake burn with the AOD.

Its the two step dance. Get the tires where ya want them..rev the engine up to what rpm usually will break them loose..drop your left foot right of the clutch and on to your brake. I like to spin th etires around 4-5k to get a nice smokey burnout. You can also drop the clutch in second and do the same thing, just have your rpms's up! I'll race you the first race if you want Rich..no bottle!

Yeah Rich, pretty much what Julian said. It's normal for the car to roll forward a bit during this process also, so dont panic, just apply enough brake pressure to hold the car in place. I would suggest doing the burnout in 1rst gear until your get the hang of it. You wil not generate as much wheel speed doing a 1rst gear burnout, so keeps the rpm's up to achieve a nice burn.

Good luck, :D
.......burn'em up!!!

dats it!.....dont forget to "blip" the tires as you roll through the waterbox.

give it a couple times in 1st.....then start doing them in 2nd gear for a nice roasty burn.
