ALL ARE WELCOME!!!

SuperStallions of the Net "Spring Nats" Track Rental @ Cecil County Dragway

APRIL 12th

Gates open at 8am
Racing 9-4

RACER TICKETS are only available by PREPAY and ticket sales cutoff will probably be near the end of the third week of March 2008.

Racer Tickets are $50 (via Money Order), $55 (via PayPal)
Spectators are $10 each and do not have to prepay.

Track is sprayed with VHT that day

Since it is private rental, you can setup personal GRUDGE RUNS and/or NO TIME runs. You can also run PRO TREE. There's usually a "Gambler's Race" as well. Usually this event sees about 175 cars or so, so you'll have no issues getting in plenty of runs.

Complete payment details in link below:

Seriously...it's just a fun day of test and tune among friends. The first time I ever went down the track was at the very first SSOTN nats. Everyone showed me the way, and thanks to them I caught the bug. There will be LOTS of first timers that day. And they will have a lot more patenice for you then at a normal track day and Rob will be there working the tree and guiding you if need help getting staged. It would be a big mistake not to run that day.

yeah, but thats embarrassing be like 20 car lengths behind a 10 sec fox...lol

Not always the story,The faster car doesn't always "win"... a few of my fellow street racers will vouch for me on that one..;) and as several have said before me, this event isn't about "winning".... it's all about having a GOOD TIME!

Keep in mind, if you don't learn to drive a 14 second car consistantly, you'll never learn how to dial in a 8-9 second car dependably....:-D
The faster the car, the less room there is for driver error.. correct those error's while the speeds are forgiving and get to know your car.

The SSOTN nat's are a great time, Get out there and run your car:tree: There is ALWAYS going to be someone faster... whether your running 14's or 7's

P.s. Feel free to enter the gamblers race! don't worry about Mike's car, it's just a little "306 with an s-trim"... :poke:

Whomever's name and address that the PayPal account is in, is where the racer tickets will be mailed. There's no limit and once you have them in your possession, you're free to use them, share them, or whatever. The only thing that's ever asked from SSOTN, is that if you do not use a Racer Ticket, you sell it for your out of pocket money, and no more. There's always someone wanting a ticket during the last week or so, that you could re-sell it to and recoup your money...

RdRunnr
03-01-2008, 01:26 PM
Also the tickets are normally mailed out about a week before the event all at once, so don't expect to receive them until then.

oops...Good Point Eric. Lots of people get flustered because they do not get the tickets as soon as they pay for them. They are all mailed out at the same time...

I believe so, i think it was the AOD silver hatch i had at the time. I believe i only lost once with my black car.

RdRunnr
03-03-2008, 12:19 PM
Yea, I think that was the car too. It was definitely an AOD something and it wasn't leaving consistent like you were used to with your own car.

itslegal
03-03-2008, 01:32 PM
Actually the 2 times i lost one was with the silver car, i believe it was Sean and darin in the finals. and the other was when i had clarks old car and i believe Butch won that one.

frdfandc
03-03-2008, 07:09 PM
You were running the silver AOD car. And it was Don and myself. Don lit the red bulb. I think the only time you lost with the black car was up against Butch and the blue 85.

03-03-2008, 07:28 PM
I dont remember losing in my black 88

I'll try too. but every year it gets harder and harder to get 8 people. This year people will probably have a chance as i do not plan on bringing my black car, but i'll be there with another car.

No need to be at all. It does not matter if you run a 9's or 16's
Its all about the fun. When Rich's 88 Mustang was in pieces he ran my 2003 v6 stock daily driver and had a blast.....you may see it again if the car still isnt ready. :-D
