I was conversing with Brandon(musclestang89) about where he races and he explained to me that where he lives in Texas, he only has a few 1/8 mile tracks that are in a reasonable distance from him. I believe he said that he has never raced a 1/4 mile track.

That made me think of how lucky we are hear in northern Delaware. Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, MD. is the home track of MOB RULES Racing. It is only a 30-40 minute ride from here down I-95. It is a great track(been going there since I was 6 years old) with lots of history(for me anyway).

And besides that we can race at the following 1/4 mile tracks with about a 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive time:

Maplegrove Raceway in Reading, PA. - Awesome Track - National Events are held there

Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. - Another great track - National Events are held there also

ATCO Raceway in Atco, NJ. - Well, it's just Atco, hehe - still a decent track

U.S. Dragway in Del-Mar, DE. - I have never been there, but I hear it leaves a little bit to be desired - I've heard stories of sanding blowing across the big end there,

I have raced at Cecil, Maple Grove, and ATCO. I hope to race at E-Town this year in some type of event. I thought it would be interseting to see where everybody races at, so post your home track, tracks you frequent, and tracks that you would like to race at in the future. Maybe add a quick detail(good or bad) about a certain track.

Well I have been to the 1/4 just once. And that was for FFW last year in Ennis. It is about 1 1/2 - 2 hr drive. There is also one in OK that has a track that is about 3hrs away. But never been there. But I am planning on attenting to that track this year for an event.

I usually go out to Kennedale (1/8 ) about 30-45 mins away casue they are open on Sunday's. I work 7 days a week and I don't have much time to make it to the track like I wish i could.

I don't get out much. Does driveway racing count?

No that doesn't count, :) but it can be fun at times. 8) It looks like you got damn near an 1/8 mile there. How's the shutdown lane over that hill? :D

I have to shut down BEFORE cresting...otherwise I would launch and be in the corn fields on the other side of the street.
