so you are planning on a AOD with wide ratio internals and 4R stuff.
VERY good, however please do yourself a favor and get a nice VB or pay attention to moddifying it to shift properly. The AODVB does not like to shift the 4R gears correctly being the ratio's are not even.

There is a sticky in the other forum that lines out this swap and I am sure there is a thread as well.

Basicaly, everything swaps, but keep the AOD tailshaft (if you want AUTOMATIC) and the fwd drum to keep the 2pc input, and keep the AOD pump. The rest is pretty swapable.

The rebuild does require you to hand pick several parts, however a AOD gasket kit and hand picked clutches and steels are suggested.

Transtec gaskets kit and raybestose high energy clutches.

well i finish the 4R70W internals swap to my AOD, yesterday i drove the car, and oh my God, it fells really stronger, and when i shift manually to second gear i really feel that my head is going to dislocated, but here´s a strange thing, i do the epoxy mod, so i start the car on 1 position and the car hold on the 1 gear, shift to a D and the tranny shift in to the second gear, and when i shift in to the OD the car shift to third, but here the thing i dont need to remove a little my foot from the gas pedal to get the fourth shift, do i make a mystake when i do the epoxy mod?, in fact i see that maybe i dont aply enough amount of epoxy weld, i only put at the level where the bottom of the 3 holes are, any way for me the car works great and also im glad to have the 4 shift whitout have to remove my foot from de gas pedal, because in OD now the car shift like an stock one, also, i installed and a B&M shift kit, and for my surprise the shift isnt to much hard, i mean is hard enough but i dont have that noin hit, im very happy with all
