My car is very close to running with the new combo. I have never had a C4 so my question is how tall of a tire do I need for street use/short highway cruising with 3.55 gears? I would like to find a tire to use with my factory 17x7.5" wheels (I plan to have the rears widened later) but need something for now. Stock tires are 245/45s, I think I will need something taller.
I also have 2 sets of Welds, 15x8 and 15x10. I am thinking maybe a 27x10 Hoosier Quick-time Pro for the 8" rims with occasional street use and the 10s will be strictly for racing with 28" tall drag radials. I'm actually a M/T kinda guy, but have been offered a small sponser deal if I use Hoosier or BFG's.
What do you guys think, am I on the right track?
