I am saving for a blower now but I just wanted to get some input on what kits are the best. I was thinkin of going the Procharger way but not sure anymore. My engine can take the pressure of boost everything is forged but I want to run about 8 -10 pounds of boost. I have a Nitrous Express wet kit on now with a 125 shot I would like to keep the N20 on the car and run a 75 shot if I get the blower. Any suggestions or comments would be great thanks alot.

For what you are trying to accomplish, a Vortech would work nicely and would save you a ton of cash over the Procharger. Are you running a stock block?

Its a 302 sportsman block. What kind of Vortech kit would you suggest?

I think that depends where you are looking to go and what sound effects you want. I've used the S-Trim, T-Trim and YS-Trim Vortecs on my cars in the last 4 years and here's my take.
In almost all cases I would consider the kits with the optional Air to Water aftercooler, they cost considerably more and add complexity to the install but allow you to make more power, more safely for a given boost level. At 8-10 pounds of boost though I would not consider the aftercooler mandatory.
If you will be done at the 8 to 10 lbs you state and you want the stealth deal, buy the Vortech Kit with the S-Trim SQ head unit. You literally cannot hear the blower (really).
If you will be done at the 8 to 10 lbs and you want a little blower noise, buy the Vortech Kit with the S-Trim head unit.
If you want to run 10 - 14 lbs now maybe more later and you want the most sinister blower sound you ever heard, buy the Vortech Kit with the T-Trim head unit. The sound and bottom end kick on this blower are absolutely wild.
If you want to run 10 - 16 lbs now and maybe more later, with a relatively quiet blower (less noise than the standard S-Trim in my opinion) and don't want to worry about having to upgrade later on when you want more power, buy the Vortech Kit with the YS-Trim head unit.
