I have used both the 1/4 stick ( in teh ash tray spot ) and most recently used a winters shifter. hands down i like the winters much better then the 1/4 stick .

I thought the Winters shifter was nice when I drove Mike's car.

any pics mike? i want low key and don't want to do anything to the center console... id rather put a stock aod shifter in but i dont think that will be a good idea with the revese manual valve body

Only pic i got of it is in the magazine if you have 5.0 from dec 03 its in there. You could probably make it work in teh stock location with a good bit of modifying it. Heres a pic of the 1/4 stick in the ash tray

I went back to the 5spd in my car for now so i cant take any pics of it. but the winter's imo will be much better with a reverse manual. I used the 1/4 stick with a regular VB switched to the winter when i changed trans's and went reverse.

B&M does make the hammer shifter that is a direct replacement for a stock shifter. You can either get it for a c4 directly or get the aod one and they make a c4 conversion kit for it.

According to the description on Summit "The Hammer shifters work with forward and reverse pattern valve bodies"
