Coming out of conowingo on rt.1 north at 55mph and a old man pulls out into the road and stops and looks at us. All of a sudden lights out. Total car and injuries. Flew joe to baltimore and me to perryville trauma. I got a left elbow that is cracked[maybe opperation]some stiches on right elbow,burns to my upper back,banged up knee and skin missing from 3 fingers. I,ll tell you more latter

No we were in joe's nissan spec v 03. Just glad the nitrous bottle was empty because it broke the line off the bottle. We were some lucky sobs. I got lots of pics i'll have to catch up and show you them

My family was notified and there in minutes. Thanks everybody for your concerns. The man that pulled out in front of us was charged with careless driving. 2 people that saw the accident gave a statement to the Md state police that said,"The 2 boys in the nissan were not speeding and had no other alternitive." Just glad to be alive :D

It doesn't really matter what witnesses say. Maryland is a no-fault state so you are bound to get fucked, make sure you involve your own insurance company the second they start pussy footing around. I was t-boned by a trash truck in my Dodge 1.5 years ago. I was on main road, trash truck was on side street that dead ends on main road at stop sign, he came down hill of street and never stopped at the stop sign, hit me square in the side of my truck, almost put me on my side and over a small embankment. Witness was there gave statement, cop took report, driver apologized, everyone agreed it was the trash truck's fault and that I was a very lucky person.

2 months later, insurance company finds the accident to be 80% trash truck and 20% my fault so they lop 20% off the settlement. They called the cop and asked him to do an accident recreation, he refused saying 'this is a clear cut case that the driver ran a stop sign and almost killed someone", they looked at the pictures taken of the scene and magically concluded that I was "obviously speeding and should thankful I was ticketed at the scene because of the amount of rubber on the road". I was like "hey asshole I have 38 inch soft compound rubber tires on my truck, I was also spun 180 degrees sideway, those aren't stopping to avoid an accident skidmarks, those are I just got fucking hit by one of your trucks and I am out of control skid marks"....After that they refused to talk to me on the phone, the setttement came by mail and said "This is the only offer of settlement you will recieve if you chose not to accept this within 10 days no settlement on this accident will be available"...needless to say insurance companies are all assholes and don't give a fuck about what really happened in an accident and who is at fault.

If I had gotten hurt I would have taken them to court. If my truck had suffered damage, I would have taken them to court. Those assholes lucked out because I drive a tank that actually inflicted more damage to the trash truck than I received.

Lawyer was notified on saturday and is meeting with joe and i tuesday. As far as Md being a no fault state i could give two shits. I was a passenger in an accident that i had no control of witch put me out of work and injured not to mention scared for life. So far as me being fucked in this deal i think not. Im an injured passenger of another persons carelesness. Witch puts me at 100% not at fault. So believe i have nothing to worry about.

Question to ask, did those airbags help or hinder?

srv1 they do both. I say this because when we hit the airbag kept me from busting the windshield with my head. Now the bad part is when i braced myself my hand was on the cover door for the air bag. And when it went off my hand got forced against the winshield cutting 3 out of 5 fingers. So i would say good and bad.
But i'm still here so they did what their meant to do.
