For the F150
couple months ago the driver's side tailpipe let go from the muffler cause it was rusted out.
Today, the passenger pipe let go.
More for sound reasons, I want to go with a 2 chamber flowmaster and a 3 inch tail pipe.
What do you all think would sound good? It's a 302.
Single pipe with a 2 chamber flowmaster, otr dual pipes coming off one flowmaster?

Go with dual flows.
I dont know if ya have anything planned Don, but Rob at MANIAC MUFFLER could make you up a custom set-up anyway you wanted it. He did the exhaust on my car and greg's also. He also just did a dual set-up on Greg's Tahoe. His shop is near the GM plant on Boxwood Road.
He's got a quick stang also, here's his # - 996-9420

I run Mopar headers into a stock cat and then into a flowmaster with dual outlets for my dodge...I like the sound. Had it like that for years.

I'm going the inexpensive route. Local shop I use quoted me 160/170 for a single exhaust, 2 chamber flowmaster, side exit after the passenger rear wheel, and a 3 inch stainless steel tip.
I'm dropping it off in the morning.
It's probably not a logical idea to go with a custom setup on my daily driver. next thing you know I'll be wanting and Edlebrock 5.0 intake for it. Wait....i already want that :D

Wanna race?
I put the Dynomax "dual" exhaust on my Silverado Pickup truck and it sounds plain awesome! Not too loud, but plenty loud enough to know it's there. I also added a K&N FIPK cold air kit the other day...The truck definitely runs better on the highway and has a noticeable power increase as well...

That sounds like a sweet setup Bob.
I can't realy hear mine until I get on it. At idle outside of the truck it sounds pretty nice.
I'll have to get Chaun to do a drive by in it so I can hear it.
The 3 inch chrome pipe gives it a nice bling factor.........ha ha
I'll have to take some pics after I detail it this weekend.
