I know they bell housings are different. I also believe the input shaft is different length also to match the bell. Is this the only difference? I have a 94gt and want to put a fox t5 in. What would I need to do?

The input shaft/bell is the only difference. I put a 94 cobra t5 in my 92 coupe and just swapped it with a 93 cobra input shaft (cobra t5's need a cobra specific shaft) and used a 87-93 bell. You can just swap the input shaft for a 94-95 input shaft and use the 94-95 bell and you're good to go. I think Gator has his old 94-95 bell that he can set you up with.

That's what I thought was the only difference just wanted to make sure. I have a 94 bell from my broken t5. I can't really afford a built trans right now. I would like to go auto. I need something that is gonna hold behind my stroker monster. I'm looking for something cheap right now just so I can drive it.

3rd gear. I don't know how to fix it. When the clutch isn't pressed in you here a noise coming from the tranny that sounds like marbles in a blender. When you press in the clutch it goes away. I believe that is all of the teeth flying around in there when it is spinning. I did it when I pulled out onto rt301 just outside of Middletown. I was banging through the gears and bam no third gear. I was pissed. I did drive it home about 15 miles while skipping over 3rd on every start. I don't know if there is other damage or not. It sounds horrible though.

Well, if you'd like I could take a look at it. I've done a few t-5's in my lifetime. lol.

Probably stripped the teeth off of the mainshaft and third. I did the same thing to a T5Z.

I have done a fox T5 into an SN95. Easy. Fox bell housing and clutch fork+driveshaft spacer (steeda). Done deal.

What about the crossmember? Since the trannys are different lenghts do you need the fox crossmember also?

You will not need a different cross member. The cross member is slotted and if need be, you will have to remove the spot welds where it bolts to the subframe of the vehicle and slide the cross member forwards or backwards.
