Alright,I am at the point of pulling my hair out ! My car has the power as is to run well in to the 10's and I would love to hit high 9's in the near future, but this is a 90% street car.My question is what do you guys with 9 and 10 sec. cars run with success and what are they like as far as noise,ride,streetability,etc.. I want to buy good stuff but I do not want to deal with losing much streetability(fun) with my car.I am an old fart that likes my ride decently civil and quiet, since I do drive distances quite a bit.I lost more streetability than I wanted with the solid motor mounts so please tell me your conclusions.Should I get a Team Z,Baseline or Wolfecraft rear suspension(and arb) or will say, megabite jrs or such work ok.I thought about MM or Pro3i weight jacker lowers,a decent upper and a drag spring launch kit.I need to buy a kit soon so I can get the rearend I just purchased(but was messed up) fixed and this put on at the same time.I have read and researched till it all blurs together now, lol.Any and input is appreciated.

Here is the breakdown of what I was planning on running for a rear suspension. It was based on suggestions from Spence at Rhodes.
Metco Race lower control arms
Double adjustable upper control arms
V8 rear coil springs.
Strange Adjustable rear shocks
Anti-roll bar
And lots of suspension tuning.
You also have to have the front suspension setup properly to get everything to work correctly. What is your front suspension setup???
there are a lot of things to take into consideration especially if you are concerned about road noise / ride quality and having consistant short times. using solid bushings will help eliminate flex and aid in consistancy but you will have a lot more road noise. also make sure the floor pans are re-inforced (torque box areas)
everything has to work together
pinion angle and instant center, two terms that you should understand
parts i like (rear lowers)

also the old school south side bars which are now made by umi performance

for the uppers you will want a adj arm, to help in setting the pinion angle
shock / spring rates depend on how you want to drive the car, anti-roll bars are hard to get right on the street, a air bag is usually a better / safer choice
the front end you want light to transfer the weight, again struts and springs depend on you

i need some more suspension work myself. My setup consists of stock springs/struts, Lakeside rear uppers, stock lowers, Moroso trick springs front and rear w/ airbag. Cut some 1.55's on DR's and went 10.6's. Id like it to 60' better so i can really spool it up on the t-brake and leave harder.
