How does this build up sound? Quality / Price wise.

Precision Industries hardened 3/4 (lock-up) shaft $170
A+ Super Overdrive Servo $135
Sonnex Boost Control valve $40
Street Edge 2800-3000 9.5" lock-up converter - $500
6 friction direct drive drum $120
Alto Red Eagle Master Rebuild Kit $208
Kevlar OD band $35

Most of the prices were off of baumann's site, the price on the converter was from Edge (ebay auction), and the rebuild kit was from http://www.ford-aod.com/

Do you guys think this could handle like 500rwhp? I want to do the converter next and figured why it was out just rebuild it so it can handle what I hope to be making someday. lol.

I don't know much about AOD's. However, I do know that I wouldn't buy a converter off of E-bay.

I would go with something from Performance Automatic, Lentech, or Art Carr. This way you know the converter is matched to your vehicles combo.

The Converter is actually from Edge Racing converters. http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/

they just market them on ebay.
I've talked the guy Andre over the phone and he was very helpful, I just told him my cars specs and what I wanted it to do and he recommend that converter.

I'm no aod expert either. but I have been getting quite a education on them in the last 5 months of owning one. From what I have seen and learned and have priced myself this sounds like a good build up. I was looking at the edge converters on ebay also, but got to good of a deal on one locally. Hope it works out for you.
