This weekend Mike and I worked on my new Cervini rear bumper cover, to replace the old cover which was hurt. Mike had already worked and primed the bumper several times before I got there.

I sanded down the primer for the final time and cleaned and prepped the cover. Then it was ready for paint. After I masked off the top line, Mike shot the blue first.

Then I scuffed up the bottom again, and it was time for some gray.

Finally, Mike sprayed a bunch of coats of clear.

The final product came out pretty damn good and is going to be a perfect match :)

We are letting the paint dry over the weekend, and it will get mounted up early next week. While the cover was off, we took the opportunity to finally paint the parachute mount to clean it up. The external part of the mount that sticks out of the bumper will also be shot a nice glossy black

Big thanks to Mike and [url=http://www.cousinscollision.com[/url] for getting this done, and for letting me get my hands dirty learning some body shop work along the way. Stay tuned for the final pictures soon!!!
