When I hurt mine moving a damn yard of river stone in 2 days, I kept popping tylenol at work. it hurt so bad that I didn't even go in the Monday after i moved all the stone.
And on top of that, when I went back they had a damn fire drill so I had to walk down 16 flights of stairs with my laptop and backup tapes!

The problem is that you are sitting down for several hours at a time. Last time I hurt my back (doing a transmission at work) it was sore for only 1 day after I did it. Since I'm constantly moving, lifting stuff, etc..., all the muscles are being stretched.
And yes, you just have to deal with it..............

Jules, I think it's just that you are a sissy...lol... j/k buddy...
Now you have had a taste of what I deal with every single day of my life...
Here's my latest Company paid Doctor's report to the Workers Compensation Commission...
Patient was involved in an accident in July of 2002 injuring his back. His MRI scan of his back revealed slight end plate bridging at L1-L2. There was mild diffuse annular bulging at L2-L3. There was disc disease and mild narrowing of the disc space with bulging at L3-L4 causing mild flattening of the ventral aspect of the thecal sac. There was also facet joint hypertrophy with borderline central spinal stenosis. At L4-L5 there was disc disease, bulging and facet joint hypertrophy resulting in neuralforaminal narrowing worse on the left. A small lateral left disc protrusion was also suspected. At L5-S1 there was disc disease and narrowing with a very small right disc protrusion and mild facet joint antropathy. Based on the injury model of the AMA Guidelines there is a Category II impairment of the thoracolumbar spine and therefore has a 5% impairment of the whole person due to the back condition. There is no definite evidence of radiculopathy. There are signs and syptoms of possible radiculopathy on the left. This has not been confirmed by EMG and nerve conduction studies. He continues to have pain, loss of function, and loss of endurance. He cannot heavy lift. There is problems with prolonged sitting, walking, standing and driving. At this time, taking all of these factors into consideration along with the AMA Guidleines there is a 35% permanent partial impairment of his back.
That is what back pain is...lol....
In all seriousness...
Take care of your backs...When it's "hurt", it's usually hurt forever...Trust me on that.

Back pain sucks! I have a pinched nerve in my back that acts up every once and a while. It shoots down my leg. Hurts like hell!

Thanks guys...I think? lol Bob, I thought of you when I made the post, I would go nuts dealing with this all the time. I have figured it is more muscle then back, as it feels much better then earlier. I was lifting and moving a big ass ladder around, may have been too much for one. It was more poor planning on my part. Dodgestang..you need more to do.. lol
