My car currently has an AOD with a shift kit. If I floor the car from a dead stop, it will not even chirp the tires 90% of the time. If I took it to a drag strip it would certianly have no traction issues what so ever. If I installed an Edge 3000 lockup stall or eqivalent, then what sort of reduction in et should I expect? This will be assuming equal traction for both scenarios. Lets say with 26" slicks for both stock stall and 3000 stall situations. Could I expect to see .3th reduction for a stock longblock coupe? Perhaps .5 thenths? Just curious about the actual improvements a stall of that size will make. I know that it would be more of a difference with a 11:1, Victor Jr. headed, 250 duration @ .50 cam, but I'm talking stock 5.0 with cats and all. Nothing but a converter swap.
