Da*# Blood Pressure

Went for my 3rd physical for my CDL A and only got a 3 month card :x . Now lets move back a couple years. I passed all physicals sense then. I go for a new job and Da&# for 45min. my blood pressure was 162/102. For those that dont know thats grounds for a stroke[stage 2 hypertision]. So now the diet starts :? Im 6ft 228 and only 28 years old. Doc say lose 22lbs and diet.

I hope that works for you. I was 225 and I'm 6ft..dropped to 190, don't smoke, and ask anyone how much I exercise.....still on the medication. Hypertension is one of the number one killers, it effects over 8 million people, most never knowing they have it. I had no symptoms, never!! After exstensive rsearch, found out during pregnancy, my mother had severe hypertension, this was passed along to me..heredity sucks. I take my pill, and deal with..better then kidney failure or a stroke. Good luck.

P.S. I get pissed as my readings at home are great, at the docotrs I get white coat fever..bang, through the roof. Pisses me off. lol

Thanks JULIAN, Im the same i can check it at home and im fine but as soon as i see the doctor im out the roof. I was sitting there tuesday[doctor] and looked down and both sides of the bed was soaked. I have a twin brother and hes had this for a couple of years now along with my dad.Soon it be under controll.

As for the 1/4 mile, I'll just run less fuel for now :lol:

a diabetic girl was partying with us last night and she got sick and her roomate checked her blood pressure and it was 600/150 or something like that........after giving her insulin shots it went down to 430 in about and hour.....scary shit

I think your talking about her blood sugar level. If she was any thing over 190 she would of had a heartattack or stroke. A person with diabetes should watch what their drinking or they will go into a diabetic attack. Hope shes ok.

Blood sugar Josh...bp she would have stroked out...not that a blood sugar of 600 is good, that's can put you in a diabetic coma and kill her. Booze and daibetes is a pretty stupid combo, the young lady is pushing her limits..someone should talk with her. Even 430..I would have her in the ICU. She wants to be under 100.

Yes having been in ICU for blood sugar I can vouch for what Jules is saying....I went into the hospital with a BS over 500 and almost died....A friend of the family passed away last week from the same thing...12 years old with a blood sugar over 600...

damn sorry i was thinking the wrong thing.....yeah she was bad....they said the last time she was like that she had to stay in the hospital for 3 days.....

i saw her the next day and she was still dead looking.....
