Overhauling---The Rustang!

This was a great episode. Cliff Notes: Fathers Car, left to son when he died, son took his high school sweetheart to prom in it. Totally Rusted out..they steal..and fix. Nice to see the little guy get a car like this. When it was done...450hp, ford engine, trick suspension, custompaint and interior and sound system. SImply awesome looking..that Foose guy is remarkable. These cars must be worth a ton when completed. EDIT..sorry it was a 66 Mustang Fastback with a six when it began.

hmmmm could have sworn it was a 65.

I am already saving up for that Maier setup (not that I would have any interest in how to mod a 65 Fastback mind you ;) )....that was a VERY nice suspension they put on that car, I wish I had seen more of it cause it almost looked like they put a 4 link setup in the rear at one point.

Just goes to show how crazy we old mustang owners really are...that thing was a rust bucket in every sense of the word, but he had fresh primer on it to try and keep from deteriorating further, stored every part he had ever taken off, and was running around the neighborhood with a video camera the next day frantic about his missing car.

If it had been mine, I would have been running around with a 12 guage, not a camera.
