First off, go back to the 19 lb injectors. They are good till you hit about 300 rwhp. Bump your timing up to 13-15 degrees - or till it starts to ping on hard acceleration.

You will find out that bigger isn't always better, especially with a stock motor.

Yes, you will be good with the 24's, but I'd wait till the heads/intake/cam are installed.

Also, try running a short belt at the track...by-pass your air pump and power steering...another trick, I dropped 2 full tenths using an underdrive crank pulley and an electric fan...and I was going into a 15-25mph headwind...

I don't know if you're familiar with the 1-D-1 shuffle but that will help as well...I used to manually shift mine at around 4800 from 1st to 2nd and at around 5100-5200 from 2nd to 3rd

My 3250lb t-bird with my 230lb butt went high 14.30's into a head wind all night long...that was with a stock convertor, 3.73's, electric fan, underdrive crank pulley, K&N panel filter, 14* of timing(on premium of course), MSD coil, full-length headers and off-road h-pipe...there was NOT much money into that car...BTW, an aftermarket trans cooler ran in series with the stocker will help SOOO much.

Good luck,
Don

So your best is now a 14.60. Great! What type of Mustang do you have, 'vert, hatch or coupe? Do you know how much it weights?

I've got a '90 LX Convertible, 3400 lbs (3550 lbs with me). I did a best of 15.50 last summer with only a CAI, 65mm TB, 76mm MAF & electric fan as upgrades. I've got functioning A/C & 3.27 gear. I'm just trying to compare to others.
