I just got my 31 spline axles, diff, and c-clip eliminators today. I have a question about the process of installing them because.. well i've never done it. I wanted to see if any of you vetrans got any tips to make sure my eliminators don't leak, because that's the last thing i want. I haven't started yet. Also if anyone knows of any informational guides to doing the install, that would be cool. Thanks. billy

find a portable band saw for cutting the ends of the diff. It will make the job much easier.

I did a set for a friend once. Make sure you measure how much to leave in front of the mounting flange, so the blocks locate on the remaining stubs. I think it's like a quarter of an inch. a Sawzall and body grinder will work but yeah, a portable bandsaw is better, I had a real bandsaw, and a helper to hold the empty housing. LOL
If you are doing this ON the car, put an old rag in the tube, so you can pull it out and keep it clean when you're done.
