I'm in the process of reassembling the top side of the engine in the 95 Cobra after redoing the heads. I'm switching from Crane Hydraulic Roller Tie Bar Lifters to the new Comp Pro Mag Units (looking for a few hundred more RPM) and I was wondering if it makes any difference which way the tie bars are set in. The picture below was how the Crane units were installed but I noticed that both the Crane and Comp lifters will fit fine and appear to have sufficient clearance with either the tie bars facing the center of the engine or facing out. Does it matter?
