My wife lost control of her Jeep this morning and plowed through one of those 3 foot tall cement filled steel posts they put up to protect buildings.....hit it dead square with the 35 inch tire so she ripped it right out of the ground...luckily we have a very tough jeep so damage was neglible...execpt for a broken rod with Heim joints on each end....I scratch my head for a few minutes where I would find a new heim joint on short notice.....

so I called up some auto places I deal with and collected names....one that came up was 'Northern reflection' which is a chassis builded in Churchville....basically a big shop built behind a house right on route 22.....real nice guy there.....he had the peice, sold it too me cheap at $20....I would have paid $100 since I needed it today to get the car back on the road....had a nice green fox body there and alot of nice projects....anyway he does full custom cage work as well and while I had hoped to get down to Southern DE for my roll bar its just too far with my scheduele....so I was thinking I would take my car over and get an estimate next week...anyone hear ever heard of 'em? Or I will be a 'Test subject' for the Forum.

I peaked at their race cars and their bars looked REAL nice.

Nick,

Have you looked into Rhode's Custom Auto (www.rhodescustomauto.com)? They are only about 45 minutes from Cecil and they are the best.

Rhodes is where I wanted to go, but they just seem too far away I need to coordinate with the wife to get down there drop off pick up....I'm still prob going to get an estimate from them since it will reality check any other place.

If you see some of their work you will want to go there without question. They aren't really that far away. You can make special arrangements to drop your car off there too. Ron lives right next door and there is usually someone there working on weekends to take the car in for you.

Northern Reflections is owned by a guy who was the main wrench at AutoFab Race Cars...His work is very nice, but very expensive...
