Reliably is probably the best KEYWORD here...

I went mid 10's for a few months with stock, 28 spline re-packed Traction Loc and stock 65,000 mile axles, but it wasn't the smartest thing I've done...lol. On the other hand, in a mid 13 second car, my nephew snapped a stock axle in the burnout box on a regular radial.

Automatic cars are much more forgiving, but personally, I won't try to run quicker than 12's with stock axles in the future. I know several people running low 10's, at least one mid 9's with a 31 spline Traction Loc and an automatic.

I upgraded to a 33 spline spool very soon after, then since it was a legitimate street car, I finally settled on a 31 spline Traction Loc and ran dozens of low 10's and low 1.5 sixty foots without a worry at all...

mid 10's with stockers lol nice. great run on the vid too.

that's great news, i'm upgrading to 31 splines and an eaton 8.8. i hear they hold up pretty well

been 10.79 on my stock axles with 110k on the axles and stock posi unit and its never been rebuilt :D and drive it everyday

i broke one with around 300rwhp on et streets on second pass. I now have 33 spline/spool

thats awesome. no doubt i'd be one of the ones who broke during a 13 sec pass - or slower :sad:
