the setup i plan on using is a stock 302 bored 30 over with factory crank and rods that will be polished and recondiioned. i plan on using speed pro forged aluminum pistons an e303 cam with 1.7 rockers a cobra intake and either thumperE7 heads or gt40. will this setup handle a 100shot

I sprayed a 100 shot on my last mustang many times and the car had 120k+ miles on it. just make sure you have a safe tune.

i sprayed the piss out of my stock bottom end 95 5.0 and it held up fine. it had trick flow heads and intake with the E cam and cobra 1.7 rockers.

i just had to change the spark plugs pretty often since I liked to run 16 degrees of timing on the hit, lol.

stock pushrods will be fine BTW.

yes, as said easily as long as the fuel is there and the timing is in order

I would run two step colder plugs and retard the timing 2* for every 50 shot over 100. I ran a 200 shot on stock bottem end for 2 years with no problems.

Agree with everyone...
stock pushrods "should" be fine.
100hp shot "should" be fine
Make sure fuel and timing is right, and you're golden.

I will also chime in and say you "SHOULD";) be fine... I ran 8- 200 "wet" shot passes last year on stock bottom end. Hell...1 of which was with 44 degrees total timing at WOT:shock: (Dumbass me forgot to change my pms tune) it lived through it.. i'm assumeing race gas was the only thing that kept it alive:screwy: a 100 shot isn't all that much... Just obey the nitrous "rules" and don't get greedy with timing.

175 shot on a stock 93 hyperutectic piston, 50+ passes last year alone on the 150.

30 degrees of timing total with the 150
28 with the 175

Going for 9's this year with the stock bottom end :D
