Hello all, just trying to cover all my bases for my t-5 to c4 swap on my 94.

Will a different transmission crossmember be needed for the swap? also will i need to purchase different transmission mounts?

last but not least, will I still need an automatic shifter bezel if I am going with an aftermarket B&M hammer shifter?

Thanks guys.

Dont know about a 94-95 but on a fox body you break the spot welds and slide it to the front and re-tac it. And the trans mounts are the same so it "should" work. I did RdRunners I dont know if snaped any pics.

Well on a fox body you need to "drop" the shifter or it sticks up way to high and you need to hack your consol. Hulcumb(sb) makes a kit or do it youself its pretty easy. But we used a 5sp boot on mine and just cut a hole in the boot for the lock oout handle.

trans mount on sn95 are 1" further back than fox.
I am sure there is a SN95 c4 conversion xmember, however, modding AOD/AODE unit should work for you if you are handy with a welder.

Well, it's long since been mounted up and proved itself so here is the solution my team came up with.

We ended up taking the existing Crossmember and made some MODS...;)

I decided to take more drastic measures to beef up my torque boxes and ended up with two leftover lower torque box 1/4" steel reinforcement plates...

With a few beers and some creative thinking on my friends part... we decided to put them to good use.... and the mods began.

We took extra care to "box" everything in and add additional reinforcement.

We jokingly refer to it as the "little black box" Between the added reinforcements and the 3 coats of POR-15 If I ever bite the dust at the track I ASSURE you this thing will DEFFINATLY survive the crash:shock:

A few beers, and alot of fabrication/measurements. We are....

(we made stencils of everything... so if your interested in a "CG" mount for your next swap... hit me up;) )

Very interesting. I'm doing the same swap on a 94 GT and that is the exact question I was going to ask. I might have to bolt it to the x member cause I don't have a welder. Thanks for the info.
