I just got my motor back. It consist of Scat forged crank, CAT h beam rods, SRP flattops, SVO girdle and studded throughout.

Just curious...I like to know what everyone uses. What kind of compression will the motor be making and what heads are you running? Engine looks nice :)
From the blocked being decked to 8.195 and the heads being shaved .030" I would have to say VERY close 10:1 with the SRP flat top pistons. I have no idea what horse I will make but I am assuming approximately 350 horse. Have you used these head gaskets before?

Nope...never used those. I've used 1006's, 9333pt-1's, and I am in the process of switching to cometics now. I think your hp guestimate sounds pretty good. You going to bring the car to fall dyno day at La Rocca's?
I dont think I can make it. Time is against me :evil: With my luck something will break and I would be stranded down there. I would like to come to Cecil again. One thing I didnt like about the track was sitting at the tree you has to keep your foot on the brake or you roll past the lights.. At the 02' Mod shoot out it was 103F at the track and the car ran low 14 second time slips all on a blown head gasket!!
