Hi guys I have the chance to buy a complete rearend out of a turbocoupe with 5 lugs and all the brakes to bolt it up. Well I want to put Ford Racings chrome 03 cobras with the 6.12 backspacing with 275 nittos and was wondering if they will fit. I heard the rearend is a little longer than the fox length. If you guys can help i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Matt

Turbocoupe's weren't 5 lug. The housing length is the same as a Mustang. The stock 4 lug Turbocoupe axles are .75" longer than Foxbody Mustang axles. You had better make sure it's not a Mark VII setup. The Mark VII axles are 1.25" longer than the Foxbody Mustang.

I am only going to use the housing I think. I want to put 5 lug axles in there put don't now what size axles it takes. I need 31 spline axles. I am also up in the air on what rear disc brake setup to use. And hopefully 03 cobras with the 6.12 backspacing
thanks Matt

if your only using the housing, why don't you just use your housing? it's alot easier changing internals than the housing and internals.

I hit a curb with it and most of the curb hit the left rear wheel and now this rearend is in perfect shape. So i found out you can use 94-95 axles with the disc brakes. Do you think I will have a problem with 03 cobra wheels with the 6.12 backspacing. Thanks

There is one difference between the T/C housing and the Mustang housing. The brackets for the quad shocks on the T/C housing are longer than the ones on the mustang housing. You have to drill new holes in the brackets if you want to use your quad shocks. If you don't your quad shocks will bottom out and bind up the rear supension.
