I bought some useless show car crap for the 65....flame away

I know, I just couldn't help myself....open the hood for people and having them ask me if it was a 289 was killing me, so I spent some money getting a custom air cleaner to add a little 'flare' the underside.....I swear, this is the first and last peice of non-functional items I will ever put on the car....please forgive me....but I do think its kinda cool looking :? :wink:

As a followup...does anyone know anybody that works at the window tinting place on ROute 40 and 213 in Elkton, MD? I need to get my rear window done and thought it would be nice if I knew someone that did this, or at least someone that can vouch for the quality of a place :)

Nick, I have seen some of their finished product. Its very nice. Actually I'm getting ready to have my truck finished up there with the front 2 windows tinted to match the rear. Good prices and a nice warranty.

Hey thanks for the number....that was actually quite easy....got an appointment for saturday 10:30 to get the windows done....I will prob be there for 2 hours if you want to stop buy and say hi......now all I have to do is get that date solidified on a bar ;)

Definition of Rice: Useless crap bolted to a car that ultimately slows it down specifically for the purpose of making a car appear faster than it is.

I don't think this will be slowing me down any ;) and you can only see it when I open the hood for you :D so its not like I am trying to impress the honeys on Route 40 with my tricked out, blinged up, yellow sticker covered ride.

PIcs make it look darker than it is...it is 36%...all black...no fancy chrome effects....turned decent.

Little upset that he couldn't get the rear window done in one sheet :(
But he was honest about it, and called to make sure it would ok to do in 2...he seemed genuinely upset that he couldn't do it in 1.
