Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I own a 87 LX Convertible AOD mods are in sig. I've only owned the car for 3months so its no where near done ;) like they ever are.

Is that yours? I just bought a new deck lid to get rid of the luggage rack on mine but I dont know what to do with the 3rd brake light. I like the look of no wing but I dont think it would look good at all with just the brake light there. Think I should just leave it off? Think that would cause problems with the cops and stuff. Im already using dumps but I guess cops dont really care about not having any tailpipes.

nice looking car........yea loose the rack and the 3rd brakelight.....the cops can't say shit about it.....they'll never know u took it off.....the best way to do it is get an LX trunklid and paint it your color

thats what I was thinking. I picked up a lid from the junk yard the other day just gotta paint it and figure out how to swap the locks so my key still works. any idea on how to do that? Also just gotta hook up the power trunk and the trunk lights.

he replied to my post on corral =) Im just kinda worried about cops. Im sure most wont really care but I dont want to get one with a vindetta against something and take it out on me. Already running dumps. I need to get new pics of the car. Its currently in 4cylinder drag. 2.3 fender badges and im gonna put up a 4cylinder tailpipe. Just ordered new tags 4CYL FOX

Hi guys, I saw this on DSR thanks to Blue Devil :lol: I have a 00 GT with minor bolt ons for right now-70mm Throttle body,BBK cold air,off road H-pipe,Flowmasters,MIL eliminator,Pro 50 shifter,2" lowering springs, and a Hypertec powerprogrammer....nothing great but gears and a new clutch are next....I ran it in the winter with just exhaust and it ran a 13.6 but I havent ran it since...

Welcome, i dont see too many other cars that color combo, looks just like mine in its original form. I swapped a decklid off a 4 banger coupe that didnt have a 3rd brake light.
