best gears with street/strip aod

i have a street/strip aod,2500 stall and a power band that starts at 3k.what gears would be best?Im thinking of getting 4.10's

4.10's are good for n/a and 3:73's with a blower.

I run 4.10s in mine.
I also put in the AODE gearset (2.85 first) and run 3k 10 inch stall with a power band that starts right around 3k

Car runs good....still no time slips but it will put you back in the chair pretty good on the street.

Alot of people tried to talk me out of the 2.85 gearset saying I would run out of 1st gear to fast, but I am more than satisfied with the overall performance of the setup. What is your redline? I can tach up to 7k+ if I need too and that will really define your gear to run....as I have read, you want to be at or close to it was either the red line or the tail end of your power band (not the same thing on some cars ;) ) just as you cross the lines at the track.
