Car update!!!

Well after 2 months of banging my head against the wall, we've made some progress.
Well we put a new harness in and it seemed to fix everything. So we took it down the track and it went 13.30 1st pass PIG rich. So we pulled a little fuel out and it went a 12.90 but it was so rich cause of still running the 42#ers. So instead of switching everything around to run n/a when the car was built for a blower. I spent a few hours with a buffer and polished the blower and inlet pipe. Hope to have everything all hooked up by the weekend and then I need to get the 4.30s out. Plus I have 31 splines and a new posi unit to go in too. I just need to get all the little odds and ends that I rigged up for last years nats just so I could race the car.So hope in the next few weeks I can get my 1st 10 sec time slip.

Yea once we put the harness in it changed the idle and vacumm. The old harness fixed alot of things.

20+ pounds, 93 octane gas, and stock fuel system. It was 100% myfault. I couldnt control myself. Well I found a 3.60 pulley, picking up rails and reg tommorow. Ill grab a dummy pick up, a1000 pump, and run #8 up and #6 back. One thing I will say it was a fun ride. 5500 in 3rd gear 900 feet out and the tires are breaking loose. But it popped when I rolled out after the race and smashed it at a 2500 rpm roll. 1st 2nd BANG;)

Well my season is over before it even started. When the gasket let loose it scored the head. Not a big deal can be decked and fixed, but now the compression comes into play. And the block needs to be decked also. Time to do it right I guess.....lol
