Another new guy from PA

Hi guys, wanted to drop in and say hi. I bought a Yellow 1989 Mustang GT off a guy in New Castle, and the back window had a click click racing sticker on it, wondered what that was! Anyhow, i have a dart blocked 427w being built for it now, and am upgrading my current blower with either an F1 or F1-R. I live about 25 minutes from cecil. I have probably seen some of you guys before there, just didnt know who you were, i used to have a black 2001 lightning with a roll cage that had an "x" in the back. This looks like a great site!

Welcome to the site. Glad to have you onboard. You bought the car from Dustin. A few of us here built the car, so we know it pretty well. I heard recently you blew up the motor. Sounds like you have a sweet combo in the works. If you haven't picked up the procharger yet, give DynoJoe a shout. He's a dealer for them.

Yea, it was dustin. The car burnt oil like crazy, #3 cylinder was scored bad, the lower intake bolts were only hand tight, and most of the rings were not sealing and getting massive blowby, the passenger side head rockers were ground down to clear the valve springs, and the pistons were ground down using a grinder to clear the valves, but somehow the car still ran its ass off, he said he bought the shortblock from someone. He's a nice guy, but when he said that the car "puffed white smoke every once in a while when he would be driving" i knew there was something wrong with it, and he thought it was a "header gasket." But the body was straight and the interior was ok, thats the only reason i bought it, lol. I bought my P1sc thinking i would go with another 306, but changed my mind, its for sale in the classifieds!
