Hey guys my combo consists of 302 with about 45k, cobra upper and lower, 65 throttle body, 75 bullet mass air, 24 lbs injectors, b cam 1.6rr's, cold air induction, x heads no smog pump, performance automatic c4 hughes 10 3800 stall converter and 3.73 gears. okay here is the problem with street tires my car went 14.059 at 98.79 in the 1/4 with a 2.122 60 i was somewhat happy because a great improvement from before but the car only got slower with sticky tires and after about a 3 month rest. I know my car should be alot faster but the air here were i live is horrible so a 14 sec car here is a high 12 second car 6 hrs away so the question is what can be the problem

You may have to change your launch rpm with the sticky tires....what were your numbers?

sorry guys for the delay in responce been out of town. well i have had best results launching the car from idle the 60 still sucks but i have run my best numbers this way and as far as the problem with the car it was the plugs and wires along with a bad mass air meter since the post i have fixed the problems and changed from shortys to long tubes and i am hoping for some mid to low 13's

i have not been back to the track yet but i am trapping right at 5800 at the 1/4
