Has anyone ever had a Ford Motorsports converter? I have a line on one at a good price. The part number is m-7902-t AOD TQ 3000Rpm 76-2-11.

Thanks

Don't know which one that is, or if anything has changed, but the two Ford Racing converters for AOD used to be B&M converters, reboxed. Don't know what price you can get, but if that's the converter you're set on, check out Summit and see how much it is for the actual B&M unit....may be cheaper.

Personally, if I buy a new one, it will be EDGE or PI...Used, is pot luck IMHO...

Used, I'd say that a B&M (FRPP) converter is worth $150 tops....

I got one with a used AOD a few years back. It worked OK but I wouldn't buy another, unless it was very cheap and then only for a "regular" car. JMO....

I can get it for $175 shipped. Its for my coupe and all I have is a TFS stage 1 cam, Track heat intake, 65mm T/B, 76 mm MAF. Kinda doing the budget thing now and don't have the cash for a good converter. It won't be raced much just really a daily driver.
