Whining/buzzing type noise in park. (aod)

My aod makes a whining or buzzing type noise (best way I can describe it) when I put it into park after driving in forward gears. Some times when I come to a stop (low gear) it makes the same noise, just not as noticable. When stopped and it makes the noise when going into park, I can put it into reverse for a few seconds then back into park and it sometimes quits making the noise. I am 100% sure that the shifter/cable is adjusted right. I am using a b&m pro stick.

VB buzz.....if you have a 90-93 there is a TV valve buzz problem that can be cured with an updated vb gasket kit.

If your AOD is pre 90, then I would STILL assume vb buzz - it is annoying, yes, but problematic, no.
