Just wondering how many people on here run blower's on their automatic tranny car's? What is You best ET and MPH? and do You have a lockup or non lockup converter? I will start, I have a HCI 306 with a pullied S Trim and edge non lockup converter and My best is an 11.132 @ 122.735. This is in a 92 notchback.

This is the combo from my wrecked Mustang ~ Procharger P600 17psi pulley,Lentech VB,Lentech custom non lockup converter stall at 2800 rpm,DSS LC shortblock, Edelbrock heads,GT40 intake,1.7 RR,Crane 2031 cam,42lbs injector,1 3/4 " Bassani shortie headers,3.55 rearend gear.
Tires of choice~ BFG Drag Radial 255/55/16 set at 12-14 psi ( Track only )
My best 60 ft time was a 1.50 and I would said my avarage is around 1.70,the best time was a 11.59 at 118.95mph . I have seen one 121 mph run.
I am sure I could get a 10 second time slip if I could launch and shift it right. I was holding back from launching it hard because I have two close call at the track before when the tires broke tractions and I ended up kissing the wall about 100 ft out.
The car was dyno at 430 rwhp running rich midrange. stock factory fuel lines is push to the limit at that HP range.

My car is a street strip car but not a daily driver. I drive to My local track which is 150 miles round trip. I leave M/T ET Street's on the car full time and just drop the air pressure when I get to the track. I want to get into the 10's at full weight and still pass Ca. emission's, I know it's not that big of a deal but it has been something I have been working toward's. My combo is a stock block 306 with TRW piston's and an F cam being the only changes to the short block. I have AFR 185's with some comp cam spring's and titanium keeper's, topping it off is a S trim with a 2.95 upper and a power pipe with all the usual bolt on's fuel upgrades and a 1 5/8th's BBK shorties and a high flow cat setup. The tranny is an AOD with redline clutches, one piece input shaft, and an A servo. I also have an Edge 3600 non lockup with a lentech terminater with tranny brake and a detroit locker in the rear. My best run broke down like this 1.628 60 foot time, 4.626, 7.135 @ 97.943 at the 1/8th, and a 11.132 @ 122.735 in the 1/4 mile. This pass was recorded at Sacramento Raceway on 5/26/06 and I was kicked off the track till I get a roll cage so I am on hold for a while:-D .

Nice ET and Trap speed for an AOD with an S trim. Do You have a stroker or a 302? Full weight car or on a diet?

One of my old sled's went 10.46@130 with S trim, AOD and lockup converter. Slapped a YS trim on, and it went 10.24@133 tune (10.24@133...tune)d for Torco 118NOS fuel. Car went 11.20's at 125 on pump gas and 10* TOTAL timing, LOL...
VERY Streetable, Ask MattG who owned it after me. I got 19mpg highway on a trip from my house to Delaware & back, and car by itself weighed 3270#...502rwhp/543rwtq on a DynoJet SAE corrected
Very basic combo:
Basement built 306, out of the box Edelbrock 6037 heads, TFS Stage 2 cam, out of the box TFS TrackHeat intake, 42# injectors, Aeromotive fuel system, PMS tuned, MAC longtubes, STOCK AOD w/LenTech Street Terminator Lock-Up valve body and 3800 PI Stallion Lock-Up Converter, 355 gears, ET Streets...blah, blah, blah...
Here's a video from one of my favorite Grudge Matches...BOTH cars equipped with S trims and AOD's!!!

11.0 at 126 - 306, S-trim w/stock pullies, meth injection, Lentech AOD
Didnt really get the chance to see what the car had it in but it sure had balls :) With the proper converter and if it had the gear to finish the track it may have went in the 10.60-10.80 range.

Fairly new combo (still underachieving), .030 over 32 valve w/S-trim 14 psi. Just retuned to 492 rwhp (after 7 dyno pulls), 4R70W built by me, 3000 stall B&M holeshot convertor w/lockup, but don't think it's actually working. On a very rich tune and bad conditions it went 11.5 @ 120. Nice weather daily driver, full weight plus me. LOL
Still faster than Big Red.

I have a 90 coupe, 306,TFS headed,S-trimed AOD car,it has a PA manual VB with brake all street car, but with 325 ET streets on 10 in welds, love the tranny, thanks to PA for great products, the inside is original and has 180,000 miles on it, dont know times, but I have walked over low 11 sec cars running slicks, while I had 225 street tires on, now wheels in the air hooking on the street....
