Here's the big POS that bounced me into yet more permanent back pain...

Euclid, which is a pretty damn big vehicle....holds 5000 gallons of water, which is used for dust control in industrial settings...

Jules, have fun w/photoshop...not often you'll get a pic of me...

lol....X to the Z, or whatever he says...lol

Actually, this is the rig I drove for only one day, bounced my damn back into spasms and crap, and got me another ambulance ride...The pics were actually taken for Court evidence to show the size of the truck, compared to a 6'-3" tall person...most people, especially a Judge, would have no clue what a "Euclid" water truck would be, and probably just assume a much smaller truck. Just like when I tell people I work on lift trucks, they naturally picture a 6K# fork lift that moves pallets around, when in fact they are 40K, 50K, 60K and even 100K# capacity machines...without seeing them up close and personal, someone unfamiliar would have no idea how big some of this shit is.

An operator of a 60,000# "tractor" or lift truck, can run over a grown man and not even know it...it's happened a few times before....thankfully, I've never been the guy who gets to go lift a machine off of a crushed body, or be the one who gets to steam clean the guts off of the undercarriage...

People picture these:

when they are actually this: (this is a 40K# capacity machine, lol)

I drive a crown high reach lift for 12 hours (not a sit down model) and by the end of the day my feet hurt so bad I can bearly walk. It's gotten to the point I hate going to work. The one in the picture shows a seat but my company is to damn cheap to order one with a seat:boid:

Thankfully, I get paid to work on this junk, rather than operate it...:lift:

This is what I drive all night at my job

The one I normally use is an electric, but it has broken down and I now drive a propane jobber. Hopefully it will be fixed by the time I go into work today.
